As well as medical advice, you can use Anima for:

It may not be necessary for you to attend for an appointment.  You can submit an online consultation via the button below.  You can submit details about your condition or your administration request and you will receive a response from the practice usually within 24 hours but you will be advised of the timeframe once you have submitted.   

You may still call the surgery if you need to see a Nurse for appointments such as dressings, vaccinations and cervical smear screening ect, we will endeavour to give you an appointment time to be seen.

How does it work?

Anima is an effective way to contact your GP or clinician when booking appointments or help with admin queries, you fill the online consulation in full detail so we can triage this to the best clinician that is able to help with your problem. Anima seamlessly and confidentially integrates with your medical record bringing improvements to how you request same day appointments and how our staff assess your condition.

Your request will be handled in exactly the same manner whether you complete the Anima request online yourself, or contact us via telephone, where our receptionists will ask the same questions to ensure equity of access for all patients.

Anima is open at 8.00am every morning and can be booked via your mobile, laptop or computer, if you need any assistance please call the surgery on  01752 403206 or come in person to reception.

We have listened to patient feedback and hope you find Anima easier to use. We are really excited about this change and the benefits it will bring to all our patients and staff.

 

When you arrive for an appointment make sure you check in at the Appointment Touch Screen by the main entrance or reception if you prefer before you sit down in the Waiting Room. Do let us know in good time if you are unable to keep an appointment. If you suspect an infectious condition, tell the Receptionist who will get a side room ready.

If you wish to speak to the Receptionist in confidence there is a quiet area away from the main Waiting Room – please ask.

 

Appointments for the Nurse

We operate a booked appointment system for all Clinics. When booking your appointment please let Reception know what your appointment is for so that they can advise you when would be the best time for you to come and the length of appointment you require.
