Using the Econsult System

We have been pleased to add EConsult to our list of options for contacting the practice, and we know that a lot of people have found it a helpful way to get in touch with us. We have a few tips for getting the best from your EConsult when you use it to contact us:

·         EConsult is available during surgery opening hours

·         Please don’t use EConsult for very urgent concerns – it is best to ring us if you think your problem is urgent

·         Please follow the path for your symptoms – this gives a better result than if you ask for “general advice”

·         If you want to request a phone consultation or an appointment with your doctor, please ring us, as this will be quicker. We can’t take appointment requests by EConsult.

·         Photographs can be attached and are very helpful, but they really need to be in focus to give the clinicians the best chance of helping you
