Surgery Update September 2021
Thank you for your understanding during what has been an exceptionally busy period for the practice. You may be interested to know that we provided 15 % more appointments in August 2021 than we did in August 2020. In spite of this we have had a period of very high demand and we know that it has been frustrating at times for people trying to access our services.
If your problem does not have to come to us, please consider a discussion with your local pharmacy, the sexual health service, or 111. If your problem is not urgent, you can send an EConsult and the admin team will let you know when a clinician will be able to review it and get back to you. If your problem is urgent please do not hesitate to call us. In the mornings our phone lines are busy, but we have a lot of people answering them, and try to keep the waits as short as we can.
Above all, please remember that our team are doing their best in very difficult circumstances, and don’t deserve to be shouted or sworn at, however frustrating things might be. We are doing everything we can, and would appreciate your help in getting through this together,
